Metering Technology Corporation (MTC) is designed to be a reliable telemetry solution for collecting, storing, and transmitting consumption information from electric, gas, and water meters. The system logs data readings from pulse-type meters at time-stamped intervals, and uploads the data via standard telephone lines. Readings are stored at programmable intervals and reported to the host hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly.
The versatility and two-way communications architecture of this unit enable it to be used in a variety of monitoring and automated applications. This microprocessor-based system fits into a standard electrical junction box or NEMA enclosure for indoor or outdoor installation.
