TerraJute/TerraGuard

TerraJute is a light-weight woven polypropylene fabric designed to control erosion during vegetation establishment. It covers seeds and soil-protecting against wind and rain while allowing the passage of moisture and sunlight. As new vegetation grows, TerraJute slowly degrades from exposure to sunlight.

TerraGuard turf reinforcement mats are an aesthetically pleasing, alternative to rigid systems such as concrete or riprap. TerraGuard is a permanent erosion control product comprised of polypropylene fibers sewn between two nets.

The major benefits of TerraJute over other erosion control fabrics/blankets are: A) Full rolls are 12' 6" wide by 432' long and weigh only 100 pounds. This makes handling, 1 transportation, and installation quicker and easier. B) TerraJute is made with high texture fibers to catch soil particles and help reduce water velocity. C) TerraJute is not adversely affected by water; maintains strength and stability in a wet environment. D) TerraJute will not rot; can be stored indefinitely.
