Tembind, featured at the APWA Conference and Exhibition, is an all-natural product derived from agricultural processing used as an unpaved road stabilization and dust control agent. It can be used with unpaved roadway surfaces including shell, coquina, limestone, clay, sand, marl and gravel.
The product has been used on roadways, airstrips, helicopter pads, campgrounds, parks, race tracks and parking areas.
The application rate varies according to the road compositions and the intended purpose, The product must be applied to:
- well-graded surfaces with proper crown
- well-compacted surfaces
- adequately drained surfaces
- pre-wetted surfaces.
