TRANSMAP provides a unique collection of tools to allow utility companies to increase productivity by eliminating field trips to gather and verify information. We integrate our POLE-SHOTS system with other technologies such as MAPVIEWER to generate solutions specifically suited to these agencies.
Our solution provides digital color images of utility poles or other vertical structures linked to geographic locations. Electric utilities, telephone companies, and cable companies can then use these geo-coded images to measure heights of different cable attachments; inventory utility poles and installed equipment for a GIS or facility management plan; and improve quality control, engineering design, and planning of new cable routing.
