The product controls taste, odor and color and oxidized compounds without the risk of trihalomethane formations. All process functions are controlled from one central PLC control system. The system handles turbidity and color spikes in the plant's absorption clarifier and filter sections.
Water is dosed with up to three mg/l of ozone for maximum pre-oxidation within the process' 30-second contact time. It is said to reduce chlorine usage for post filtration purposes and may improve coagulation.
